Hello! Hi I'm new here, and I have a question. At what age is a Yorkie the height that he/she is going to be full grown? I have a 16 week old that seems quite large to me. I am hoping she doesnt grow a ton taller, but I will love her all the same if she does She is also awkward looking with a large snout and floppy ears. She is AKC registered, but doesnt fit the bill completely! Her personality definitely makes up for it though

Issy is adorable. I guess every pup is different in some respect. Buddy continued to gain 1lb each month until he reached 1yr old. He is a bigger Yorkie so that might be the answer. The smaller they are the shorter the growth period possibly. Buddy is 15lbs.

She sure is a cutie. There is still hope that her ears will stand. Taking the weight off her ears will be a huge help to get them standing. Shave the hair off her ears,it will grow back and will be well worth it, if you want her ears to stand that is

Thank you! I have never had a Yorkie, so this is new to me. She sure is affectionate and LOVES the kids. I have never seen a small dog be all over little ones so much and not be afraid of them.
