| OK, so now tell me how to do it???? Today's the big day that I go & visit the biewer pup, and I know myself all to well.....I'll be walking out the door with him. So, any suggestions on introducing him to two year old Snickers?? And truth be told, has anyone ever regretted getting a second little one? Not that you didn't love the new dog, but just that it made doggie bad habits worse or anything like that. I think I'm a little nervous about how Snickers will feel. I think that he will love the company, but might be jealous at first because he is so spoiled. I also worry that he will start peeing around the house again?? Regardless.... I'm ready to add to my family So any sugestions would be great!! |

| Hi, I added a second one back in September and at first - I thought OMG - what did I do - my first one Lillie did not eat, she wanted to be in my lap constantly, etc. Then after about 2 weeks - they were like best friends and still are. I was watching them this morning before I left for work and they were playing chase with each other and I thought - that was the best decision I ever made - they have so much fun together.

| I just got me new baby 2 weeks ago and it is still not going well. They will play fine together and then the minute someone else enters the room, Bella my 1 year old aggressively attacks the baby...I wish it worked out a little better then it has. Here i thought i was getting Bella a playmate...What a nightmare. I hope everything works out better for you..

| All I can say is don't just get caught up in the puppy cuteness...talk to the breeder, ask lots of questions, and expect them to ask you a lot of questions in return. I think I said in one of your previous threads that I too am interested in owning a biewer one day. However, I feel like I still have a lot to learn about the breed before I even consider owning one. There are a lot of unknowns with them at this point and unfortunately there is a lot of wrong information going around and a lot of unreputable breeders. I will be researching the breed and learning all I can before I ever consider owning one. So all I can say is be cautious...join some biewer forums and speak to breeders on there...I can recommend some to you if you PM me.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have added 4 dogs in the past 2 1/2 years and had no problems. unfortunatley Dixie passed and I just brought in the new one the breedr gave me. The only problem I have had is housebreaking, I have to stay on top of all of them. Also this time my Pom does not like the new puppy at all. She was here first and was fine when I brought in Cali, then Pixie and then Dixie. So I have been working with her and not letting her get away with growling at Roxie and I never leave them alone together. Just introduce them slowly and take your cues from your first one on how receptive she is. I am soglad I got the others, it is more work but well worth it.

| The only time I second guessed the decision on getting a new pup was when my hubby surprised me w/a new pug for Christmas back on 2001. We already had one pug and at the time I was going through IVF and taking care of a two yr old. It was a shock and I was not prepared but in the end it all worked out just fine.

| I recently adopted a biewer girl and I just made sure to give Bunny tons of attention so there wouldn't be any jealousy. It worked great and the girls get along fine and totally love each other. |
