I'm with Yorkieville! I would come if I possibly could. Fall would be better for me too. Several others have had meetups and they look like a blast!! I know Bo would love it. He loves other dogs. OOOOhhhh it sounds like so much fun! Are we thinkin' Indy or where? I'd love it if it was in Evansville, but I don't know if many could attend. Let's follow up on this guys. OK, who's a good party planner????

Ok, so would fall be alright for the rest of the group?? I know of Military Park in Indy, but I live south of Indy and I am sure that is not the only park, so if anyone know of any better parks in Indy please tell us!

There was a meet up in Michigan awhile back and it was held at someones house who had a fenced in back yard...so they had a BBQ and the yorkies could run free in the SAFE fenced in back yard. Public parks make me nervous because anyone could come in with any dog. I'm a nut...I know.

It looks like many agree with Indy...I think that is a pretty central place for everyone...if not, speak up.

Fall is fine with me. That might be a good idea.

If we go with Indy, someone from Indy should suggest a place. I know Indy, but not like someone who lives there. A park would be good-any other ideas?

Indy sounds good for me too!! now all we need is a date and place to meet. and hopefully it will be a weekend cause im sure some of us work M-F i know some do work on weekends also. kathy (wnalegria) lives in Indy maybe she knows of a place that would be good.

I think that fall would be the best time. We need to get out of the 90 degree days that are miserable for everyone concerned.

We could start looking at days in mid sept. during a weekend.

WE need someone or two who would like to be the activity director/s- if this works doing it in the Indy area the next one could be in a diff. part of the state with others doing the scheduling that way it can move and all could be involved.

So does anyone want to step up to get things rolling

I agree with Kathy, we do need to get out of this 90 degree weather.

I live in Valparaiso, about 3 hours from Indy. We have the Porter County Fairgrounds, which has a number of big buildings, plus lots of outdoor space. We may want shelter from the sun, or worse yet, rain.

Anyone know if Indy has something like it?

I think it would be too much work to expect a member to host it at her house. And a park may not be wise, because we may attract too many people with big dogs, kids, etc. (You all know how our babies attract a crowd!)

So, anyone from Indy, help!

If we could get enough people, we could all chip in the money to rent the space, provide food, etc.

Seriously, I would love to meet as many of you as possible.
