He looks like a yorkie to me. I think he just has to grow into those precious ears and long legs. His little face is irresistable!! My two have the same parents, different litters and one is 10#s, and the other is 4#s. I love them both and wouldn't give them up for anything.

OMG - I think he is the CUTEST little Yorkie I've seen in a long time - OMG - he's gonna be such a Mamas Boy - LOVEY DOVEY - You are so lucky ;)

big thanks to everyone for your comments! i've come to the realization that it doesn't really matter if he's a mix or not, i really do love him to pieces. i'll be sure to post pictures as jamie gets older! i would have asked to see the papers but i didn't want to offend...who knows, she might have just showed me and i wouldn't be questioning like i am now! i really appreciate the feedback though, it cheered me and jamie up tons...i tell him what a chick magnet he is all the time =) btw, jamie will be 4 months on thursday and he was weighed on saturday at 3.9 lbs!

I thought I saw this picture here too.... You arn't crazy! Maybe some one else was interested in him before this owner got him...or maybe there is another puppy that just looks like him.

He looks yorkiet to me. His ears and coloring definitely look yorkie. Either way, he's adorable!!!

He looks a lot like my yorkie did when he was younger. I was told he was a red legged yorkie. Their hair is coarser and grows slow and they may have a little longer nose. I think he'll turn out adorable. Don't worry, just enjoy him.

Upon seeing the pictues my first thought was Yorkie/chihuahua mix, but other posters are correct every yorkie looks differant! Its amazing! He is however ADORABLE!

Just wanted to say Jamie is adorable :)

I thought I recognized him from somewhere else also but I think now it was from her original post introducing Jamie :)

Everyone has summed it up very well, but I wanted to add my 2 cents! Jaime is absolutely adorable and is obviously going to grow up to be a handsome little man. I never realized how many different looking Yorkies there are until I came to YT. Fat, thin, tall, short, ears up, ears down, "teapot", "teacup", silky hair, cotton hair, and the list goes on and on. Who cares?!?? The one thing we all have in common is we all love our babies soooo much and wouldn't trade them for the world no matter what they look like! :thumbup:

What a transformation! We are so lucky to have a breed with beautiful puppies that turn into gorgeous adults!! :D

That means he will be approximately six pounds full grown. That's a great size for a Yorkie in my opinion, although all Yorkies are perfect to me. I just love the personality. :)

I think he's a cutie...it is so hard to tell sometimes when they're young...Yorkies go thru dramatic changes sometimes. In the meantime, we'll enjoy seeing those pictures as your little one continues to grow..
