It is the same way at my house. I do all the work and daddy gets all the reward(kisses and cuddles). I have often appeased myself by thinking daddy lays on the furniture more than mummy and that is the reason

Belle is nice and gets excited to see everyone (my mom, dad, brother, boyfriend--especially bf!) but at the end of the day she knows that mommy is the one who loves her the most, and the one who fusses over her, so at nite it's cuddle time...

my mom says that as soon as she says bye to me in the morning when i go to school she goes and lays down in my bed and plays in my room, and comes out when i get home... but she spends her time in my room, even though she has full run of the house
