| Poor Little Lamb....Red Male is Sick Today My poor little guy isn't feeling well today. He has an upset stomach and has trown up 4 times. I did all the right things, and fed him water through a dropper to make sure he has fluids in him. He can stand and his eyes aren't glazed, but he looks so sad. I am sick to my stomach just seeing him and worrying about him and praying for him. We go to the vet at 4:30; hopefully he'll be feeling a lot better by then. I called the vet and she said to give him Pepto to ease his stomach (I think his problem is that he ate a couple little pices of newspaper). I'm going to use pee pads, but I worry about them ingesting the plastic from them. He is curled up with his mamma right now. All the pups but him got their first bath today. The 3 pups I did bath look brand new. |

| Thank you for the puppy prayers and compliments. I think he is starting to feel a little better already....he just gave me a few puppy kisses and couldn't bring himself to do that earlier. Still pretty weak; he fell over when he went to shake his head. It is amazing how that little sign of a kiss has given me hope and eased the sickness in my own stomach. I do hope Maximus is feeling better today also Last edited by Julz; 07-13-2005 at 06:43 AM. |

| They are all beautiful. The red ones are gorgeous! I hope he recovers quickly. It's awful to see them sick, I know just how you feel. Good luck.

| careful with the puppy pads, if they injest any of the absorbant material it can block up their intestines............ i hope he gets better, they are all just gorgeous |

| See, that's why I am afraid of the puppy pads, but I am afraid of the newspaper also. Is there a 3rd option out there that I am not aware of? I heard that once someone lost a healthy litter of pups due to them eating newspaper (ink poisoning I guess). |

| I've been using these Pish Pads and so far so good, they can't shred 'em and they're absorbant and machine washable. www.pishpad.com, I wish I could get an endorsement. |

| I'll have to try that. These little guys are teething and everything is so new to them they'll chew anything. I do have toys for them in there, but they don't get the concept yet (though they chew on the toys also). My little male is feeling even better than 15 minutes ago. He just ate a little bit and his mouth has dried up (no more drooling). Thank God! |

| I am so sorry he is sick, poor baby. I just went through that with my little guy a few days ago. He is all better now. I was just so happy when he ate a little and went potty. I know he will be fine and I am praying for him. They seem so grown up, and the littlest thing makes them so fragile again.
