YT Addict | Is your Yorkie a Yapper? Everytime someone comes into my home for the first time, they are always quite surprised how quiet my baby is! They expect yorkies to be yappy. Romeo is no yapper... until a dog passes by the house. lol. I'm curious to know...how many of you have yappers? or quiet yorkies?

| Buddy will yap every time someone passes by the house. He gets very aggressive and anxious with the mailman and pounces through the screen door. He barks at me when I walk into the house if I talk to my boyfriend instead of greeting him. Buddy will also bark at strangers that come into the house until they greet him. Well, I guess I do have a yaper

| So far... Scrappy is pretty quiet. He whines some if you don't promptly let him out of his cage. And he growls and barks a little if he's really wound up when playing, but he doesn't seem to be a loudmouth - yet. |

| Kenji was a yapper and so is Kassie. Kass barks at everything and everyone. She goes nuts every sunday night when we put the garbage can at the end of the driveway lol. She yaps at the treat door and when she thinks it is time for us to go to bed . At the same time when she is tired and lazy she couldnt be bothered lifting her head to yap. Strange little muffins arent they?

| Layla only barks when someone comes to the door.. which is fine with us... i say . Thank you Layla that's enough.. and she stops.. she sometimes will bark if we are in the car and see another dog.. it's so funny.. she'll go to town barking BUT if you roll the windown down.. she looses all her nerve |

| YES! Aria yaps at everything! She yaps when someone comes to the door and stops as soon as they come in...then she yaps when they leave, she yaps at the squirrels and birds on the front lawn, she yaps when someone passes on our side of the street (too close to HER lawn). She also yaps when we grab keys, make coffee (cause she knows the next step is us leaving), put shoes on....oh and she also yaps when she sees animals on TV. With all the yapping you think we'd be deaf! We love her just the same though...

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I have one quiet one and the other two are quiet except when the doorbell rings or they hear noise outside the door, then they do everything to let me know. But they are usually very quite. They just bark when they want my attention or me to pick them up.

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | My 1st yorkie, Lucky, I'd say is/was NOT a yapper . Then Lexie came along....she is definitely a yapper barking at anything that moves outside or any sudden sound. Unfortunatley Lucky my NON-yapper will chime in along with Lexie when she gets going. Then there's our new littlt Toby.......he is NOT a yapper........yet !

| My teddy was so quiet and lovely...he would bark if we were playing 'rough.' and he would growl his cute little growl if he was in my lap when someone walked in and looked at me funny...he was my 'half pint protector' as my friends and i often joked.
