| 1+1+1=3 Too many? Okay my husband and I have a yorkie, Lexie and a golden retriever Jordan, both girls. I really want to get a male yorkie to join/complete our family. Lexie is 4 mo. and Jordan is almost 3 mo. Should we wait until they are a little older to begin our search or is having three puppies okay? I work during the day but have weekends off, my husband works 4 days a week but it could be any 4 so generally they have someone with them 4-5 days a week and the other days we always go play with them, let them out to potty, and feed them during our lunch hour. If we got an x-pen then the two yorkies could play in the kitchen together during the times we are not there, the golden would be way to rambunctious to be left unsupervised. Sorry so long but I want some opinions to make sure we don't get ambitious and make a mistake. If we end up deciding to get a boy I'd love to get him from a YT breeder close to or in Kansas. |

| I don't think it's too many..I have 3..they're all girls though. Are you getting a boy to breed your yorkies in the future? A lot of people would say getting them all around the same ages is a plus....they can all be trained together. I guess it's personal preference. If you can handle the 3 puppies, I say go for it!

| Nope definitely not getting the boy to breed! Just want the joy of different temperaments. No backyard breeders here! I wouldn't know the first thing about breeding! All three would be fixed as soon as they are old enough. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have 3, 2 yorkies and 1 pom I had another Yorkie puppy but sadly she passed away 2 weeks ago, but I will most likely be getting another one. I do think 4 is my personal limit. I say go for it, The 2 yorkies will have each other to play with when you are at work.

| My girlfriend last winter bought three girls within a week.. she has had no problem.. but she does not get into a huge panic if one poops on the floor.. she cleans it up and takes them out side.. she had a pen made, afraid of the larger birds now here.. So it can be done... |

| I look at it this way- if you can afford the vet bill and the other things that come along w/being a pet owner then why not. I always try to keep in mind the things that could go wrong w/these small breeds like the Liver Shunt and LP.............they can get pricey if you have to deal w/it. But having yorkie kisses x3 would be great!

| Well I think we've made our decision! We're going to get a boy! Hubby said it would be my Birthday/Valentine's Day gift! He has a bonus check coming in the end of February so if anyone knows any affordable breeders in or around KS I would really love to start my search! My budget is $800-$1000 but the baby boy could not find a better home. I hope I get some answers, I'm so excited. I didn't do my search right the first time when I got Lexie from a pet store, but I'm determined not to make that mistake again. No puppy mill is going to get my money this time! |

| I would say wait awhile. That sounds like a lot of puppy-issues (puppy training, training in general, etc.) to deal with.
