| What happens if your dog eats poop? Ok, I walked Luna today in our backyard and I saw her eating something. When I go and look it seems to me that she was eating my cat's poop! I few minutes ago I went to play with her a bit and she burped loud enough for me to hear and stinky enough for me to smell! Needless to say I put her back in her play pen and ran here for some suggestions... I'm kinda worried now that she might be sick...

| Couldn't be good for her. I know mine was eating the bird's poop when it fell from the bird stand onto the tray below. The vet said definetly a no-no. I had to add a catch tray higher up. She did get a little diarehha from it too, so I'm sure any kind of poop is not good. E-Coli germs are in it. So, you have a problem if your cat poops where your Yorkie can get at it. They love poop! Don't ask me why! Yikes! |

| Lol I'm sure she'll be fine but I wouldn't be accepting any kisses for a while! My larger dog would eat every piece of cat poop she could if we owned a cat. Dogs are just gross like that. We spend all that money on good healthy food and they still prefer a turd, go figure! Jeni |

| i wouldnt think it would hurt her if the cat is healthy, my moms dog used to eat "litter box crunchies" all the time and she never got sick..... |

| I don't think it's a big deal since puppies sometimes eat their own poop. Ranger visited friends of ours and was eating kittie crunchies out of the litter box and he's fine, but if the cat has worms or is sick that could possibly transfer to the dog (which is rare).

| God I pray that my cat doesn't have anything of that sort... she's a street cat so we really only give her a place to stay and food... she not had any vet visits... She did barf up a little yellow stuff earlier today, but now she seems back to her playful self again...
