| Yorkie Shaking Hi, I posted a thread just a little bit ago, here it is to remind you. Is it normal for a Yorkie to shake now and then.? Tico is only 4 months old, and sometimes shakes, like he has the shivers, even though its warm. Tico does not shake all the time. In fact, most of the time he does not shake. I notice he shakes when he gets a bath, sometimes in the morning, but the shakes always go away. This must be a normal thing for yorkies? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | What size is Tico? They are very susceptible to cold...even when you feel it's warm. Mine will shiver if it's 50 degrees outside and they don't have on sweaters. Both of mine shiver during baths. That one I don't think is temperature related...they're just scared of baths. Ramsey will shiver and shake over type of firework or firework like sound. She hates them.

| I think its normal. Izzy shakes during baths because he is scared. He also shakes when it is cold...other times he's excited. For example: he will shake when Im making his food...its hilarious! From what I hear, they tend to be nervous dogs.

| Mine never shake unless its cold outside. Or if they are going to the vets. Or after the bath. We all get chilled after the water and the air hits us. But I have seen really nervous yorkies that would shake alot.

| My puppy shakes sometimes too. He shakes whenever I come home...i think it is maybe because he is really anxious to get out of his playpen. It looks like he is shivering. |
