| The story of Hope I found this site. It is a story about a little maltese named Hope that was rescued from a puppy mill at the age of six. Please take a look, with all of the questions about why we need to stop puppy mills this is a great example of what they have to offer to the lives of these poor animals. It is horrifiying the way she looked when they found her. http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/Hope.html we need to do all we can to stop this from happening

| Thank you so much for sharing that. It made me want to cry but definetely opened my eyes more. I can't believe how cruel people can be. But what does around comes around. Cruel deeds do not go unpunished by God, especially to his creatures.

| That is horrific!!!! Brought tears to my eyes....I couldn't even tell what breed the poor thing was. That doesn't look like her at the bottom, but I sure hope it is!!! You can tell the poor little thing has suffered so much in her little life. God bless Hope! |

| I've read this story before about Hope and it makes me sick. Check out Britt's website www.mylittlemia.com because she has a story about a Yorkie named Precious. It's heart breaking byt at least has a good ending!

| Oh that other story is so sad too! I cannot believe these animals have to go through this, it is so awful and sad. People that do this kind of thing should be forced to live the same way for years, maybe then they would undestand just how cruel it is.

| Why is that kennel still being aloud to breed dogs after what they did to Hope? The police should have shut them down. Does Kansas have laws to stop this? |

| What a great story. And what an appropriate and inspiring name. It brought chills/goosebumps to my arms when I read it. Thanks for sharing it with us. It certainly brought a smile on my face to know she was rescued. Thanks again!

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Wow...that story brought tears to my eyes...I am just so glad that someone found her in time to save her...her eyes looks so sad at first but the longer she was away the happier she seemed to get!!! I can't imagine how someone can treat any animal like that, they are so innocent and don't deserve any of what they get!!! Thank you so much for the story, if only we could get more people to read it and truly understand what puppymills are really like....

| OMG! Those are horrible stories. The pictures are so shocking! I can't imagine abusing an animal. I was sitting here with tears in my eyes. I felt so sorry for them. I would never have known Precious was the same dog. Never! |
