Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Coloring Question... Zoey was the usual black and tan. At the roots of her hair now she is going white. I know her colors are breaking and her colors can change up until 2 or so. Has anyone's baby hair been this way and when they finally finished changing colors what color were they finally. Zoey's mom is the usual black and tan and and her dad is black on the body and tan on the head. What ya think?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Ramsey came from light colored parents, however she is not as light as they. She has the yorkie standard coloring...blue and gold. My Reese's mother has traditional adult yorkie colors...the sire is black and tan...Reese is now 15 months old and his hair has not changed much. His head is tan w/ some black still in it, but his back is solid black. No lighter roots... I would guess Zoey is gonna have her mother's coloring.

| Its hard to say because it can not only be like the parents it can go back into other generations. So they sometimes change back and forth before ever staying there standard color. She could be changing several time till she gets her normal coat. Does that make sense to you.
