![]() do you use the washable pee pee pads? Thats what we have and with the backing, I don't think it would go thru to the floor. Or course, with the number of dogs you have, I imagine you'd have to change them frequently or they would smell. As far as hiding the scent.... I love the plug in things they sell at yankee candle. They are really strong, maybe that would help.......

![]() I have 4 dogs using pee pads..The ones I get through drsfostersmith absorb so well, that I put one down in the family room and one in the laundry room, now that I just bought a pen for all 4 to sleep in at night, I'm only changing out the one in the family room at night before bed, and the other one, maybe 2 times a day, so 3 pads a day for 4 dogs.

![]() Before I started using washable pee pads I bought the people bed pads at Wal-mart. They a big and very absorbent plus they are wonderful to use when whelping a litter of puppies. Another tip: If you have carpet or wood floors to protect you can buy the clear vinyl carpet protector (sold at Wal-mart) to put over your carpet and put the puppy pad on top of that or you can use a small piece of vinyl flooring to lay on top of you carpet or wood floor and put the pads on top of that. If you have a male dog in the house you can fill a empty jug with water and set that in the middle of the pee pad......instant fire hydrant!

Yes, I think washable pee pads would help a lot. If you already have urine soaked into your floor then it is probably the humidity that is bringing out the smell.
