Duchess 1st trip to the groomers - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Diva's baby Duchess is now 14 weeks old and Thursday she had her 1st trip to the groomers with Diva and Foxxy. They said she did very well. Just thought I would share pics of her on this milestone

.the most noticable change is in her face...I kind of like the "facial" hair..made her look like a teddy bear but I'm sure she's glad not the have all that hair in her way. Please excuse the tape on the ears

We are still working at getting her ears to stand...before when I did it they stood for a day or so, then flopped over again...my groomer gave me the suggestion of mole skins(Dr. Scholls or generic). You have to cut the shape of the ear then peel the backing off and apply. Wish us luck...after this, I think I'll just let nature take it's course.

Anyway, here's her cute little 1st puppy cut. I also like the way her tail stands out a little better(my vet cut it too short). Sorry I couldn't get her to stand good enough for anyone to see it tho...she's lazy and all she seems to want to do is lay, lay, lay...lol.

Awwww Yolanda; she's adorable!

I especially love her sweet little face in the first picture.....in the second one, gosh she looks big. But I know how those pictures can play tricks on ya. She seems to have alot of the brown on her face already too, or did the grooming cut all the darker hair off?
What ever........she is adorable. And looking at those ears....with or without tape, they're bound to come up. They don't look overly large or anything so why wouldn't they? I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya anyway

I got her harness from my groomer...she's owns her own grooming shop and also shows. She gets lots of cute stuff. If you'd like, I can get you one and mail it to you...just PM me your size/weight of your furbaby and I'll be happy to do that....also, I think she also has purple but I'll verify that for ya...

Thanks Rose...the pics do make her look big...I always try to get close ups so that may make her look big also

She is 3lbs 10oz last weighed last week. She is definitely a porker. Maybe her being a singleton had something to do with that...no fighting for food..

Oh, no...don't say that!!! My groomer said it came off pretty easy...Oh my..I hope it doesn't hurt....maybe I'll us a little damp cloth with water on it when I take it off just to be sure.......ever so slowly of course.

a little bit of rubbing alcohol will help with the adhesive, use a qtip and gently start at one end if it doesnt come off easily. I think that harness is very cute also.. Wonder what the purple looks like?? Whats the price on those harnesses.

I don't remember the price so I'm going to call my groomers today...I will let you know...I'll go grab a bunch of them if you're interested...you can't seeit but there's also a little bow on the back right above the collar hook. I think it almost looks like a bib..
