| Question about ears Hi, I've got another question for you all. The breeder told me to tape Chloe's ears together with masking tape at night so they will stay up. My question is how long will I have to do this for? And if I don't do it (she really seems to hate it and fights me tooth & nail) I suppose her ears will just stay floppy? Is that so bad? Does anyone have a full grown yorkie with floppy ears? Thanks, Jessica |

| Ahia will soon be 9 mo. old and her ears are floppy. I really don't care if they go up or not. i tried fussing with the taping and it just made us both miserable so i gave up. although they were up for about a week. and then down again. now one ear goes up and then back down. has to do with the teething. they are just as cute with them down.

| I think they look cute either way. Maddie and Rudy both have there ears up. I just let nature decide. All I did was keep the hair trimmed one third down the ear. Like others have posted they will go down when they are teething................Cindy |

| Hercules is 4 months and his ears have been going up and down too. I think they look adorable either way, so it's really up to you. I've decided to just let them do whatever they want. |

| Jessica! You can go to http//members.aol.com/CYorkie/Grooming.html and see how they do it. I don't think you have to Keep taking them out once you tape. I clipped the whole ear from hair and had no trouble. I thought it was cute l down too, but wasn't sure when she got 0lder. Anyway that's a great sight to learn about groom and bathing and other things. It's great! If that doesn't come up, just go to search and put in Golden Ray Yorkies and it should come up> Pat |

| Thanks everyone for your replys. Like Idenise said, it's really such a hassel to keep taping them and Chloes just hates it. I love her little floppy ears, so I think I'll let them be. Spyder girl, I'm from Union Beach, NJ in Monmouth County. Funny we're both from "unions" lol. Jessica |

| Bells ears were down and I wanted them up so, I taped them for two days and then they stood up. It was easy the shaved 3/4 of her top ear and used masking tape. After that they were alwasy up.
