| Yorkie Clothing Line Research Questions I am a clothing designer as well as Momoko and Mochi's Mama (for human clothing) and I am going to start making some yorkie clothing as well. Right now I am researching my line and wanted to ask you guys a few things. 1) How do you guys prefer your doggie dresses/harness dresses to close if they do not close with velcro? (This would be for Non Stretch materials) 2) I am a couture formal wear, cocktail, and bridal and costume designer is there interest out there for haute couture high end yorkie clothing and historical inspired yorkie outfits (evening gowns, bridal/bridesmaid party dresses etc)? One of them main things I design is 18th century inspired clothing and would love to make doggie sized marie antionette style rococo gowns. 3) What size ranges would you like to see the clothing offered in standard or custom sized etc? If you want to see my work you can check it out at www.azacclothingcouture.com or www.azacdesigns.com No doggie clothing on there as of yet. Thanks for all your help guys!

| I'm a huge dog clothing addict (my yorkie has her own closet FULL of outfits). We usually stick with really girly stuff (we love pink), but we're always open to new, trendy styles as well. Lacy got her first skull print dress for her birthday. I'm definitely open to gothic-styles if they are still girly, cute, and not too hardcore for my little princess I really like corsets...it might be really cool to see some corset-style dresses for our dogs. Good Luck with your dog clothing designs...keep us updated. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

| I'm a huge fan of frills too, while I will be offering some gothy styles, most of my styles will be more high fashion/historical oriented...and if I do something gothy it's going to be loaded with cute..I'm not a fan of hardcore looks. Quote:

| One more thing... Also I forgot to add, I am a pattern maker and don't plan to copy commerical patterns but for you that make doggie cloting out there have you found a good source for a base pattern that fits yorkies better than any other that I could start from or should I just go from scratch and make my own?

| Your websites are beautiful and so is your work I couldn't find any commercial patterns that I liked when starting my boutique. They all seemed to fit strangely, so I just made my own Can't wait to see what you come up with |

| I think some dog clothing fits weird because they make them to fit any dog from a yorkie to a bulldog so some of the clothing are too big around. Also some of the clothing - specifically the ones that have sleeves - are too short because some dogs like weiner dogs have short legs. I think you should make clothing that only for yorkies! Also, I would like trendy clothing, hoodies, sweats, that people would wear, just made for dogs. I'm not into the clothing that says bite me and stuff like that. I think you should look at clothing that is out for people and just make it into dog clothing.

I planned to have my boutique be strictly yorkie (and perhaps also Weiner dog) sizing I don't make logo shirts or silly stuff like that. My lines won't be casual wear either though because I am a evening and couture bridal designer I like to make the fancy stuff, might do some trendy hoodies too though since those are so easy to do and so comfy and cute on dogs -Tracy
