I think for baby puppy, Royal Canin is good because they are tiny kibble and the fat is good. Whenn Chewy was 4 months or so, i switched him to Natural Balance and he loves it. I actually just saw a pic in a magazine of Jake Gyllenhall (sp) buying natural Balance food for his German Sheperd.

Moxie eats Wellness puppy dry mixed with Wellness puppy moist. He won't eat the dry by its self and I make sure to brush his teeth because of the moist food.

My pup is an extremely picky eater. (14 weeks) Now we start off the day with dry kibbles, she plays with most of them but gets a couple down. Then I put a thin layer of nutrical in her bowl and dap about 10 kibbles with that, she will eat most of them. I leave plain dry food down all day. (she rarely touches it) For lunch and dinner I chop up a slice of Natural Balance roll and she gobbles most of it. She is not very big so she doesn't have to eat much but I am thrilled that YT folks told me about Natural Balance. great stuff for dogs that refuse to eat. My baby is eating and pooping. (I know YT members get thrilled by the regular poop thing )

I have always mixed 2 different brands and usually the first meal of the day gets coated with little canned. I have 7 (and a visitor) and they all eat. So, I just put 2 parts JilJac, 1 part CR mini and about 1/2 can puppy food in a plastic bag and moosh it all together til it is coated. My dogs do ot like bowls so I have stainless steel pans about the size of a pie pan..I like to mix a capsule of flax seed oil for the omega oils in the food too.
