| Eye Gunk Bentley keeps getting more eye gunk! I clean it almost every day or every other and it keeps coming back. When it dries and we comb it out it is this dark brown. Is there something wrong or is this normal? |

| unfortunately, it's normal..just clean it everyday, if it stays on there too long, it will rot the hair |

| I usually take my finger and pick mine out everynight at bedtime..the biewer and shih tzu get it also...4 dogs, 2 eyes each, you get the picture, bedtime is NOT fun...LOL you can also take a warm cotton ball and clean them out...helps to soften it to where you can pick it off easier.. |

| Yeah, Pixie gets alot of it too, I clean the area everyday, I wet the hair with a little water then use a small eyelash comb to pull the boogies out! it works really well!

| I use warm washcloth and/or eye cleaner and cotton ball to moisten the area and then I use a flea comb and comb it through area and it gets all of the crusty's out...have to do it daily though or Bella gets some buildup...I have also made sure I take her regularly to have hair cut around eyes so that strays to do poke her in her eye and make tearing worse.

| Cooper has the same deal. I did a little research and found out that it was normal. Although, when I took him to the vet recently she said he had a touch of pink eye. This made his "eye gunk" worse. He is not fond of me wiping his face, so it is quite the challenge. |
