| Weight at 7.5 weeks old Hi everyone, Just a quick question. I was checking on my baby today at the Breeders and her Vet. weighed her in at almost 1.5 pounds. She is 7.5 weeks old. Can anyone quess about how much she will weigh. My breeder says about 4-5 lbs. She has been very honest and I have talked to her at least once a week, but its always nice to hear from you quys. I know she won't be teeny, but is this about right??? Joy, Nikki and Chloe Rose |

| It really depends alot on the parents weight. Chachi weighed 1 lb at 7 weeks and he weighs close to 6 lbs. The breeder told me he would be 4-5lbs but the dad was 6lbs.

| My runt is 1.4 and his sister is 1.8. Somehow I feel she is going to be the smaller of the two. I half expect he will grow. I think the size of the parents is the best calculator at such a young age. Mine are 7 weeks old, too. My biggest is 2.8, but his my biggest nurser. He hardly eats food, and my runt doesn't nurse at all anymore. I am sure all this factors into their weight at this age.??
