| Top Knot Turmoil Lexie is a M-A-J-O-R tomboy and won't stand for anything to be in her hair. She is only 18 weeks...is there still hope?! How do you start getting them used to a bow? Clips or rubberbands better? How can I put one in without having it pull all of her hair out, yet still know that it is in good? HELP!

| I am having the same problems with Chloe. She rips it out and then eats the bow. Shes such a little tomboy. |

| I've always said to just let them be the way they want to be.

| I use skin-baby hairbands on Pixie, the little soft ones, I don't really use the rubber bands anymore as i was worried they were breaking her hair. I find these soft baby bands are more comfortable for her, I have been putting in a Topknot since i brought her home at 14 weeks and she is used to it now, she will lie on my lap with her head on my knee while I tidy her hair,it's definately something you should start early, but some Yorkies just won't tolerate it and I don't think they should be pushed if they are really not happy about it, my last Yorkie hated it and would roll her head on the floor until she had removed the offending object! so i just gave up with her!
