I litter trained my Pug but dogs love digging!!! Pee pads are the best. If you have Centinella pet stores they have there own house brand pee pads. Those are the only ones my Chloe won't shred up, and they work great!!!

The only pee pads I'll use are the xtra from drsfostersmith they're a little more expensive(although, they are on sale right now), I don't have to change them out as much as the old ones as they absorb really well.

I tried litter box training and all Maggie did was dig in the litter and make a big mess. Mine go outside, but I keep a pee pad by the door just in case of an emergency.

| We used the pee pads but the 8mo goes outside. I would think the litter would get caught in the hair and you would have that all over the house.

Yorkie's are naturally ratters and diggers. I just don't see litter training one a good idea. You'll find that your Yorkie would have dug her way to Shanghai before she pee'd in there
