Dear YT (from Eddie), Just a note to let you know that my Dad is on restriction and will not be posting until he gets a clue. Any posts you see from this sign on, just assume they are from me. Why the restriction? Well, some of you might remember a while back that Dad forgot and left Jack in the car for an hour while he was in the house watching TV. It was 29 degrees outside! Dad admitted his mistake publicly and apologized to Jack, so we begrudgingly forgave him. Most YTers did, too, although some of you rightfully chewed him a new one, if you know what I mean. (http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=103126) Well, this morning Dad left me AND Rusty outside in the cold in, you guessed it, 29 degree weather!!!!!! How dare he! He claims that he got up after only 4 1/2 hours' sleep and had an appointment he had to get to. He let me and Rusty out back to do our business and then FORGOT ABOUT US. He came home an hour and a half later, and, believe me, we tore into him like raw meat. We didn't even have our coats on, for Dawg's sake. To be honest (don't tell him), it wasn't that bad. I actually wanted to stay outside and play some more once he got home, but the deadbeat dad chased me down, picked me up and put me in his coat while blubbering about how sorry he was. I bought it last time. I don't buy it this time. Consider this a plea for help. Anybody out there want two housetrained Yorkies? Your pal Eddie "The Popsicle" |
Eddie, you poor thing! I've noticed your Daddy getting a little weird lately. I mean, he said "me" instead of "I." Who does that? Maybe he needs to go see a doctor or something. I heard people forget things when they get old. Good thing my mommy is only 31. But she did forget to put "other" in that Yorkshire Terrier post. But whatever, that's just an oversight...leaving you outside isn't an oversight. Anyway, if I wasn't a spoiled bitch I'd say you can come live with me, but I don't know if you'd like it here. It doesn't snow that much and we don't have such a big back yard. But we don't have moose! :p Maybe some other YTer can help you out. Again, sorry your dad is losing it. Good luck! Love, Baby |
Poor Eddie and Rusty. All of you can come to Texas and live with Murfee..we don't have snow:D |
Hi Eddie, This is Gizmo. You know you will forgive him, you just love him too much. I know he was wrong, but we've made a few "mistakes" too if you know what I mean!;) Make him suffer for awhile, then later on today...curl up beside him and give him kisses. |
:lol tears :lol tears :lol tears Poor Eddie and Rusty!!!!! Shhhhhh....milk it for all it is worth!!!!! You might even get some new toys and extra treats from him since he feels so bad!!!! hehehehe!!!! |
You wanna know something funny? (this is Nicole talking now) If you were a new member coming on here you'd really get ripped a new "you know what." Then you'd be called a troll! LOLOLOL |
Eddie, I forgive your dad, and AprilLove forgives your dad, I think you should too. But just in case you don't, my mommy, MaryKay, wants you to come live with us!!!!:) :) :) Mike, I have had a couple experiences similar. It is heart wrenching and hard to forgive yourself, but you are human, admit it and learn from it. I won't go into mine except to say, I paddle-wacked myself for at least a week after the mishap!!! and learned from it. |

The rest of you, please, show him NO SYMPATHY. |
You got me good Eddie! I was typing all kinds of *#!%s bad words before I noticed who your "person" was. You guys can come down to Chicago, we don't have any moose, but we do have snow! Poor little popsicle boys!! How could anyone forget those cute little faces. |
Honestly Eddie, once is a mistake and can be forgiven BUT TWICE, come on. I bet poor Rusty is begging to come back to NJ. He needs to be humbled and made to pay now and I don't think just not having YT access is enough. He needs the bread and water diet!. p.s. if you really feel you have been injured, I know a good lawyer or maybe the dog protection agency (DPA). |
Eddie go easy on your dad :) Been there.. Done that... not left her outside but a couple that were equivalent.. at least your dad is man enough to post on here that he made a mistake so we can all learn from it :) Give him kisses and tell him he is forgiven. and please don't make this restriction last too long.. we love the videos he posts! |
Eddie I would say forgive your daddy only give him those eyes and get extra treats, pee in his shoes once in awhile and you will feel better. Or take a trip all over the world and see and visit all us YT memebers and have fun. I'm sure your daddy loves you alot!!! |
Awww poor Eddie and Rusty. I agree with Yoyo, only forgive if he gives extra treats!:p I mean, a lot extra! |
Dear Eddie, I'm sending your dad some ginko biloba in the mail. Also, tell him to get some of those soduko (sp?) puzzles to help with memory. You could also suggest he put a note on the door that asks.......do you know where your doggies are? or..... "have you counted your babies lately?. Just some friendly suggestions. Don't be too hard on your Dad. He takes great care of you guys. Happens to all of us, no harm done!! |
     we are speechless!!!!!! |
I can't believe so many of you are saying "No harm done." "NO HARM DONE????" If Rusty and I weren't neutered, we would have frozen them off. Nope, DBD is still in the doghouse. And anyone who sympathizes with him will be considered an accomplice. |
Poor little Eddie -- maybe you should enter your dad into an obedience class.... I am glad that you enjoyed your bit of freedom from coats and boots and was able to romp about in the snow. Please give Rusty a hug. I guess Jack was inside watching WWW wrestling and enjoying a nice warm cup of doggie safe milk. |
aw Eddie, don't be so harsh on your daddy. he's old, he makes mistakes. :D |

Umm, good point.:) And I gotta say, new member schmoo member...I think if I posted this they tear me a new one.;) That being said, shame on you Mr. Mike! Eddie, you, Jack and Rusty better come live with us.:D And, Eddie...what is "DBD"? Anyway, thanks for the reminder that even the best yorkie parents are human afterall! |
Absolutely do not forgive him. Unfortunately Eddie, I'm afraid this is only going to get worse..as your father is a very old man. Pack your bags and I will have my mommy send you and Rusty and Jack a ticket to fly south to South Carolina. You will like it here...Life is wonderful with my mommy and daddy .. they are the best. We'll be looking for you. And don't feel bad about leaving your Dad...heck he doesn't remember you when you live there, he certainly won't remember you when you are gone. Love, Bonnie |

Dear Eddy, Am truly horrified and am sending the car around for you and Rusty immediately! Hang in there boys!   |
Aw, Eddie - you poor, poor boy. You are more than welcome to come to Michigan, but I don't know if you'd like it here. We almost NEVER go outside, especially when it is cold. But, we hope you and Rusty have thawed out now and you were right to give your dad the cold shoulder!!!!!!!!!! BTW, if you're going to be posting, make sure you learn how to use the camera to take photos of your brothers and yourself, cause we still need to see your cute little faces and hear all the adventures!! |

Dear Eddie, this is Simon. Immediately take all of your dbd's treats away. Do not pay attention to him at all! He obviously doesn't pay attention to you in the way you deserve. You, Rusty and Jack need to pack your bags and move to NY. Our mommy would NEVER forget about us. Before you leave you should all hike your legs and pee on him! |
Oh no, you poor furboys! Eddie, I don't blame you for coming on here, or for letting your daddy have it! Make sure to milk it for all it's worth-make sure you get extra treats, playtime, and sleep on his pillow tonight too! |
