| Bella's weight Ok well she was 1 1/2 pounds at her 8 1/2- 9 week check up and the last time i weighed her she was right on 2 lbs but that was right after she ate so it wasn't really correct because she hadn't pottied yet but i still got excited anyways i have been weighing her daily and she hasn't budged she has stuck at 1 and 8/10 of a pound the weight she has been since 9 weeks 2 days and she will be 11 weeks Monday i would have thought she would have at lease gained a ounce or two but nothing nota is it something i should be worried about or do you think maybe she will hit a growth spurt soon? Thanks in advance for all your expertise Mary

| They all grow at their own pace I think. Lacy grew a lot from like 3 months-6months and then slowed down.

| My little Cali I got at Christmas and she is 10 wks and she weighed 1lb 11oz on Wed at the vet. She is full of energy and you don't know how big they might be or small. Do you know what the parents weight was? That will be probably close in between what they are when she is fully grown.

| I'm glad this thread was started... Sadie is 14 weeks and weighs 2.2 pounds. She was 1.14 when I got her at 10 weeks. Is 4 oz in a month normal??? She is gaining so slowly. The one good thing is she eats like no tomorrow! If she wern't eating I would be beside myself. I guess she is growing very slowly. Chewy did to and he is now 5.2 pounds. He is so little to me I can't imagine a full grown dog smaller then him!!! I am hoping she gets to at least 4 pounds. These little dogs cause so much worry!!!!

| This pup needs to be watched closely as she should be gaining weight. No Yorkie pup shpuld be sold before 12 weeks old. It is my opinion that the breeder is in to much of a hurry to get their money in their pocket if sold at 7-8 weeks. This is the reason, the breeder needs to make sure the pup is eating well and gaining at the rate that it should be. |

| Matty Lu is 4 months and she weighs in at 2# 8 oz (almost). She isn't gaining really fast, but she eats well and plays like a crazy nut, so I'm sure she's ok. She is on schedule to be 4# full grown, but I'm sure she will be around 5#. The chart is just an estimate.
