i looked in walmart and the pet store but neither one have them. probably b/c it such a small town and i live about 2 hours away from the nearest petco. i went to petco.com and found them and the were on sale, $11 for a pack of 12 and $18 for a pack of 24. i think i'm going to order some over the internet since they sound like the really work and i need something to distract nala in the mornings while i'm getting ready for work.

actually ive just done a price comaprison on e-bay versus getting the greenies online through petsmart.... and unless you want to buy 560 greenie bones for 100 something dollars, then they are about the same.... except there is a chance you could get screwd on the ebay ......

1 a day? Wow, it takes Cecilia like a week to go thru 1. She really likes it, but she hauls it onto my bed and chews on it and it makes a mess on my bed, so I don't love her to have them that often. I wish I had had one today though. She was going nuts, she wanted to play fetch all day long and would get so mad if I stopped. Now she is completely wiped out, which is good because so am I.

As I said before, I cut the petites in thirds. On the package, it says for dogs over 6 months and over 10 pounds. They recommend the little chips for the tinies. I can't see where they would help that much with the tartar, as they are very small chips. Mine does good with the ones cut in thirds and she is 3#.

| http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...tchen&n=507846 you can enlarge the picture -- they look like toothbrushes. This is a good price too. I'd do a price comparison though. And be careful with E-bay. I buy and sell on E-bay and only use people that have 100% or a lot of personal sales. And watch the international shipping -- that's sometimes a ripoff. | i was in petco the other day and i saw that they had greenies which are "chips" just like a regular treat would be....they are about the size of a grain of kitty litter and would probably work great for training purposes (but they say only one bone a day...... it would be pretty hard to gage hwo much is too much of the greenie "bits" |

I saw them also at Quality Supply here. I can't see how they would help clean plaque off the teeth, though. I think I will stick to cutting mine in threes (the petite ones) Pat
