Nope, those aren't my girls. But Dave looked at London and thought it was Dreama!

She sure is gorgeous, Kim!! No one should ever be stealing pics, but hey, you have to give them credit for having good taste!

Let's see if I can find a Dreama/London look-alike pic! OK, well apparently it's not possible because I don't think they look alike color-wise. There's a small resemblance... They're both yorkies, lol!

Is that the picture of 4 dogs we used with the MEET UP posting?

Most of the photos we use we find on the Internet. We found it by searching Google Images. It originally appeared on a site www.dogcastradio.com and was shot by Stephane Tardif. Is she a friend of yours?

MOST all photos out on the Internet can generally be used by others, as long as no one is selling the image or profiting from the image. That would be a big NO NO! In general, we usually give photo credit, when we can. It looks like I forgot to in this case. I can go back and add it.

With photography, generally, when things are out floating around the Internet, they can get used by others, or posted by others. As long as it is not in any malicious way or profits being made. With people, if you are in a public place or out in the streets, say shopping, someone could take your picture, without your permission, and run it in a magazine. That's why the paparazzzi business has gotten so big!

In this age of the WEB 2.0, thousands of people are potting thousands of photos online that end up on Google images, FLICKR and other such sites. A person must mark them as PRIVATE, if want no one to ever use that image. - I will gladly pull the image if Stephanie has a problem with it.

I am based in Chicago, and a photographer myself. I run and mange 30 blogs! And we use other's photos all the time. And like I said, we usually give photo credit when and where we can. usually, model releases are not required in this day and age for something like this.

I used to think the same way about images on the Internet....as long as you don't use them to make money it's okay. Well, it's not. If you take it or make it, you own the copyright.

So did you take it or this Stephanie person? If she took it and gave him permission I think it's "okay" even if it's your dog.
