| No Accidents In 24 Accidents!!!!! just wanted to share that Cody and I are working very hard on potty training. My last post I was so frustrated not knowing if I was doing it right since Cody kept having accidents. Well, I think I am learning his cues and he mine. I was making one huge mistake and that was taking the divider panel out of the crate at night because I was afraid that he might not be comfortable and I wanted him to be able to walk around and play if he was not sleepy. So when I would get up in the morning I would find poop on one side and Cody lying down on the other. So last night, before going to bed, I put up the divider panel, still giving room but not enough for him to poop and lay down. That was at 10pm, woke up at 6am and no mess . I wonder if 8 hours is too long? I was setting my alarm to go off every 2 hours and I guess that is why I was so cranky!!! and still, if I get up in the middle of the night I will go to Cody and take him out to potty and feed him a little. Last night i was just exhausted and slept till 6 am. And about his ears, I tried taping them for a couple of hours and even though he hated it, boy did he hate it, it sort of worked, I removed them because he would keep rubbing his head on the rug trying to take them off. amazingly enough, when I removed the tape his right ear stood up and his left had a floppy tip!!! So when I go to work tonight I am going to pick up some surgical tape and try again only keep it on for 3 days and see how it goes. This morning his ears were floppy again!!! soooo cute. Hey Brooke18, thank you for being you!!!!You have helped me a great deal!!! Who knows, maybe someday Chewie, Sadie and Cody will meet and become best of friends!!!! |

| Congratulations! It sounds like you are well on the way to tackling this potty training thing. Just becoming attuned to cues is most of the battle. Good luck! |

| Oh Yay! That's great! Potty training can be so frustrating sometimes but it will be well worth it.
