| I am not sure about the pepto thing but my little baby had coccidia and it was easy to get rid of once you get the medicine. Thanks goodness. I hate runny poo. Hope he feels better.

Most dogs hate pepto bismol, so my vet told me instead of that, I could give Pepcid AC. 1/4 - 1/2 tablet...I'd say for your little one, 1/4 would be plenty!

My puppies came down with coccidia last year and it cleared up fast as soon as they got on albon. Not fun though.. We had a puppy years ago her little tummy was bloated so bad it felt like it could explode. we called the vet and he told us to give her alittle pepto and it really helped her.

You can read this link for remedies to treat diarrhea. There I found this info: Pepto-Bismol- 1/4 teaspoonful per ten pounds of body weight every 6-8 hours. Please let us know how his doing.

My vet reccommended Kayopectate for upset stomach and loose stools. He said we could give Griffin 1/2 tsp (Griffin is 4 pounds).
