My Little Man! Donating Member | A wonderful story I thought I'd share I wanted to share this story because it just proves how smart Yorkies are! They are real watchdogs! To make the story shorter, my father had a yorkie and I was going on vacation and had to leave him with my ex's parents, they love dogs. When I came back to pick him up they told me a great thing that happened that week when they were watching the dog. They said there has been rubberies on cars going on near their neighborhood. One night my ex's mom heard the dog growling not loud and she got up to see whats up. To her surprise she looks at the window and sees three guys taking the lights off their neighbor's car. Those lights are expensive from Nissan they are special lights that cost a lot of money. She calls the police. They arrived and started to look for them and cops got those guys! The detective comes over to my ex's mom and says: who is responsible for all of this? how did you realize there was a rubbery going on? She points at my dad's yorkie and detective started laughing. She says I am serious. The detective surprised said this yorkie is unbelievable, the neighbor's big dog was sleeping at that time and didnt hear anything and this little guy heard every sound outside. Then detective also said well you have a special dog because we were trying to get those guys for three months now, they have been rubbing all neighborhoods of New York! There it proves to those people who look at yorkie and think oh they are little guys just running around, oh well they are an excellent watchdogs! The doggy knew not to bark so he wont scare them away its just amazing!

| Harley doesn't bark much...not even when someone comes to the door or rings the doorbell. He only barks when we're playing, like he's talking to me. I kinda wish he barked a little bit, at least to tell me someone is around. |

| YAY yorkies!!! That's a great story I'm glad your dads baby helped the cops catch the bad guys! My baby is an excellent watch dog too... anyone comes up to my house or neighbors just even walking up the sidewalk and he is barking... a leaf falls. car door shuts.. anyone outside. and he growls or barks! |
