| I like Minksheen and Kelco Pro Gold and Kelco Ultra Conditioner..some baths I use both..they both leave Gus' coat nice and shiny and silky..

| I use one that's lavender scented...I can't remember what it's called, but the scent is supposed to be calming.

| I've used Pantene on both of mine for years and years. It's really good. The only thing you have to remember is that some pups have skin problems, like itching, that may prevent you from using it. Mine have always been fine with it, except in the summer, Muffin got itchy, so I had to use oatmeal shampoos on her then. Kacee is never itchy, even in the summer. Good luck!

| i use sunsilk straighten up shampoo and conditioner on smokey because that is what my breeder uses on her biewer that is a show dog.....biewers are known for having wavy or curly hair.....it really works.....smokey is a yorkie/biewer so his hair is very hard to manage...actually i just shaved him down for the first time....his hair was smelling really bad after just one day because we use belly bands....but you talk about soft...boy is he soft....and he loves to sniff his self after his bath.....lol....usually if they are gonna have skins problems from the shampoo you will know it in about an hour ofter they are completely dry.....hint: try it on his tummy(any new product that you every use) if it dont break out in an hour chances are he wont be allergic....good luck.....im still learning......

| Thanks for the info, I will test the pantene on her belly first, that is a great idea. It seems like there is so much to learn about these little dogs. I have always had big dogs and it is taking some time for me to get use to this tiny thing. I just feel so protective over her and feel she is sooo fragile.

| that would probablly be the best...especially if she is very young......i use johnson & johnson baby shampoo on smokey's face bacause of his tear stains(hence the no more tears) so i dont see why you couldnt use it on the entire body.....you sure would save alot of money too...lol......i know about the learning alot ....im still learning...and it seems like something new comes up every day....

| I've always used it on just the face around the eye area. I did forget to mention that. But I never liked the way their hair felt on their bodies, so Pantene it was!

| Yeah I could do that. Use it on the face and then Pantene on the rest. Plus Pantene will make her smell good and the conditioner will make her hair shiny and soft.
