| ![]() Groomers are no expert on dog ears and what they are going to do. I would shave and tape them. Many people have got them up that way

| ![]() well,, my oldest baby here has Perfect ears,,lol,,always stood up from very early,, but the other 2,, Daisy's ear leather is VERY VERY thick,, and she is SO hairy,, i still shave her ears but they rarely stand erect and i taped them for AGES,, and Trixie,, the new baby,, her ear leather is not so thick but she has very floppy ears,, i've trimmed em and still they droop,, dont think they'll ever stand erect,, but they are still my babies,,, love em any way! ![]() |

| ![]() martini's groomer trimmed her ears like a traingle cause they were too heavy for her so i was told thats what should be done and to tell u the treat she looks sooo cute this way lol ![]()

| ![]() my cody is 12 weeks and he has floppy ears, I love his floppy ears! I massage them, I heard you should tape them but I cant even begin to imagine how to tape them. any advice? Quote:

| ![]() Maggie's ears stand straight up and have since about 5 or 6 months of age (she's 3 now). However, Max is almost 6 months and has floppy ears. I really don't think they'll ever stand up as they are big, haha. In all honesty, I don't want them to. He is so stinkin' cute with them flopping over a little and I'm not showing him, so who cares? I love him however he turns out. If your puppy ends up having a little flop to the ear, embrace it.. it gives him character. ![]()
