I have thought that for years...Yorkie feet smell like Frito's...people think I am nuts when I say.."don't smell their feet if you are on a diet!!" LOL

Hmmmm, I wonder what Frito's are made of....

I just found out that apparently, Beagles and Boxers also have FritoFeet syndrome. They are made of corn, corn oil, and salt.... So maybe instead of our pups' feet smelling like Fritos, the Fritos smell like Yorkie FEET!

That is sooo funny...Coco has frito feet too. In the middle of the night last night she climbed on my face and when I woke up this morning all I could think about was Fritos..haha

I could never place what Maximus' feet smelled like (kind of like corn chips)...but now that you said fritos..I was like that IS IT!!!!

Haha! I always smell coonsies paws. I think im addicted to the smell. Now that you mention it, it really does smell like fritos LOL.

Ok i have to admit that I thought ya'll were totally off your freaking rockers when I read through this thread. But then...................... I was laying on the couch with preslee and she decided that I was a human jungle gym and............ hot digity.......... You guys aren't crazy and if you are........... Im right there with ya..........

I get a room with a view when we all get checked into the mental ward.....

I coulndt believe it, you all rite the paws smell like Fritos. Oh my, Im hungry for some fritos now. Im just glad my hubby is sleeping or he will really think that im really nuts, lol.

OK, I have 4 dogs and had to go smell all feet (thankfully I'm alone right now...) Indiana the Yorkie does indeed have frito feet, curiously, Montana (Golden Ret), Kansas(Jack Russell) and Hunter (German Shep) do not. No odor to their feet at all!

Of course here on the farm, sometimes our little feet smell like something else. LOL

Wait ! I think she's got it. We need to check with Frito-Lay to see if they made the chips to smell like yorkie feet.

Ok I cannot wait to go home and smell Mac & Mellies feet. I have to make sure my husband doesn't catch me doing this or he will truely think I've gone insane. I will let you know the result later on.

It's so funny you brought this up. My cousin and her husband have a mastiff and they always say his feet smell like frittos! I have yet to smell Olivia's feet, but I will now. Sillijacki- I've never noticed this with my sister's beagle. I always just thought they smelled like dirt! LOL! I'm a fritto-freak, so maybe after smelling some dog paws I'll be cured of my obsession!

Along with her "frito feet", the top of Poochie's head (between her ears) will smell like another famous snack.... Tostito's! For a long time I called her Tostito-head. I wonder why their little body parts smell so tasty!!

Well, now that you guys are talking about smells....lol

My little Buffy sleeps with me all of the time, and most of the time under the covers.

When I wake up and she's next to me she smells like Warm Syrup....makes me think of French Toast.

Do any of you smell that on your yorkie
