This is so sad to hear about, that groomer should be put out of business. I've never heard of a groomer sedating a dog. My first little yorkie got into a bunch of stickers once and I took her to my vet's and they sedated her and then groomed her, but I trusted them to know what they were doing. I am so sorry to hear of this happening, poor little thing, I hope he isn't suffering.:( |
There should be a law against groomers sedating. They aren't vets. I don't understand why it isn't illegal.:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: |

grooming What could a 3 pounder do to make the groomer sedate them???...act wild like a feral cat, yelping, biting, refusing to stand up, screaming, snapping..on and on...BUT that is one of the problems a groomer has to face from time to time...most get used to grooming with time and patience..I was paid well to deal with difficult Yorkies.. I had a woman bring me a sedated Yorkie to groom once...poor thing couldn't stand up..I asked the owner what was wrong and she said she had to give it a pill to ride in the car...I was afraid the Yorkie would die in my care, so I sent her home ungroomed. I have never found a Yorkie I could not get used to grooming with a few grooming sessions... |

I have been trying to get this page to load for 15 minutes, anyone else having trouble with slow loading pages on YT? I know its not my computer because other sites load fast. I am so sad over what has happened with Buffy, I keep thinking if only I would of took her the day that I went to see her.I was afraid to bring a older Yorkie in with my Grandchildren and my two Yorkies and that is the only reason I turned her down, Shes a sweet little girl scared very shy but oh so sweet. I dont believe in sedating any animal for grooming, I held this girl and she didnt know me at all but yet she let me hold and kiss on her. Why did she sedate just a little one. I have been trying to call the breeder, so far no answer. This little girl had just had a c-section and had lost her babies and the breeder was very upset that she had even mated her and or listened to her vet that she would do fine, because she didnt and now this. Can everyone please pray for her. Please. |
OMG that is SO unacceptable behavior from that groomer and I hope that everything is done to put her out of business:mad: That poor puppy:cry: I'm so sorry for your friend:unlove: Please have the breeder get documentation from the vet about the sedative. |
I dont know any groomers in our area, But I will get that info off the breeder and post the groomers info here, so that no one else takes their little ones there. |

How sad. Although it will not help this poor little one I hope they do take action against that groomer. I wonder how many poor other little ones the groomer has sedated without the owners knowledge. |
RONLYNN I talked to your friend through e-mail. I feel so sorry for her and her MoM. I still havent been able to get through to the breeder, Still trying to call. and still praying for Buffy. |
