He is used to playing with a dog that small, but not such a dainty one with a bit of a handicap. I don't want to keep telling him "no...play nice" all the time because I'm afraid he will start not liking her! Please help me! What should I do?? Is she too small to be a playmate for him?? |
I have two Bichons, one 12 pounds and one 13 pounds, a 4-pound Chihuahua and a 1.8-pound ferret. The Bichons know what "play easy" means and don't get rough with the Chi puppy or the little ferret. I think you can teach the male to play nicely without turning him against the other dog.
