| Obsessive Yorkie boy! One of my boys is obsessed with toys! The soft squeaky toys! He will get one toy and no matter what I do I cannot get his attention from it. If I throw another toy he won't bother with it, it HAS to be the toy he is currently obsessed with. He will squeak it for HOURS on end! When I went to my moms house for a couple she couldn't believe him. She said shes never seen a dog like him! Play with a toy the way he does! Anyone else have an OCD pup with toy?

| Yup....I have one too. Gabby is obsessed with toys..I just rescued her and that was one of the things noted in her paperwork...TOY OBSESSION! I couldn't believe it until we got home from picking her up and she seen all of Mimi & Timmy's toys. She went crazy...to the point where she layed on the most favorite ones like if someone were going to take them away from her. Needless to say she's almost destroyed them all. I've been working on her little obsession...its working because now she's able to share with Timmy & Mimi. |

| haha its kind of funny! My fletch is not mean about the toys, you can take them away from him w/o him making a noise and so can my other boy, he can take the toy from him too, but its just too funny here! He is knocked out now, after an hour STRAIGHT of squeaking his toy!

| Cujo is also obsessed w/his toys. It's the funniest thing. He's very possessive of them, and he thinks we all want them. We didn't teach him how to play fetch, but he just did it on his own. He loves to play fetch. His favorites are the loofah dogs. We call them his binky, b/c a lot of times, he'll lay down w/one and put the tail or a foot in his mouth and suck on it (like a baby w/its pacifier) and nod off with it. A couple of days after Christmas, he brought out all the toys that he got for Christmas and had them out in the middle of the floor. Then, he took them all, one at a time, over to his dog bed and layed down w/them. |

| HAHA too cute! They do amaze me at times. While at my moms house my fletcher would bring a toy outside through the doggy door and I said to him "go get that toy and bring it in" and sure enough, he went out, got it, brought it in and then went back out to play. It was a riot! Yeah fletcher learned how to play fetch on his own too, I didnt teach him just one day he started doing it. Getting the toy and bringing it back to drop on my lap! what a smart puppy! The only thing I dont like is that he ALWAYS wants the toy that the other dog is playing with. So he steals toys away from other babies. His brother, my moms dogs, etc... I feel bad for the other dogs... but he gets obsessed with the toy they are playing with and I cannot distract him with another toy. He HAS to have the one they are playing with.

| Carlos is the same way with squeaker toys. Drives me nuts sometimes especially in the morning. It is his way of giving me a wakeup call.
