They can be suspended or banned from rude PMs. I don't know if anyone reported the PMs to admin. I didn't think it was worth it

Well my personal opinion is under the circumstances, I don't think his PMs should be kept private. He's nothing but a bully.

After reading what "Jimmy" had to say, I have to put my 2 cents in!! As you know, I have two furbabies. Bailey only weighs 4 lbs, she was the runt of the litter, Maggie on the other hand, is pushing 10 lbs. Their parents are both 7 lbers. I can't tell you how many people tell me I could make a lot of money breeding Bailey:eek: Do these people even have a clue as to how much it costs per year to be owned by a Yorkie!:D $$$:D

Someone posted that they had a guess as to who may have alerted Velvet Touch to this thread. No more guessing or suspecting the wrong party.... it was I.

I strongly felt he needed to know and for the same reasons why you would need to know about derogatory posts about you, your puppies, and/or your breeding program.

Everyone has the RIGHT to face his accusers and the RIGHT to answer to the allegations made against him.

I hope everyone on YT believes and supports this RIGHT.

I figured it was you, and I'm really glad you told him, now he knows how we feel about his breeding, and his rudeness to people for posting how they felt...I hope he just lost a lot of business, and maybe he'll lose some of his business now!

Well YTers have long memories and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if this thread were linked to any inquiries about this kennel for years to come and of course it will always come up in search.

I see everyone on here has their own opinion about Velvet Touch Kennel but the things you say will not change anything. All your doing is helping out our rating by visiting our site. I see this very sentiment ALL OVER the YT. I'm so glad you brought this to my personal attention.

My point was that should he be subjecting his bitches to frequent c-sections, this is would not be a cost effective way of doing business. Therefore, I wouldn't think this is a common practice of his and of course, I hope it is not.

Not nasty, just defensive. But still uncalled for. I think when people are in the wrong and know it they become defensive. I think that one YTer said they had a pm that stated a lawsuit from VTK. Just for the record, lol in the US we all have freedom of speech under the First Amendment, so I think she probly has nothing to worry about.

Frankly, I'm not sure what my feelings are. On the one hand, his responses were a little... uh... unprofessional. But on the other hand, he sounded quite proud of his business and his breeding practices. So, as a business person, I have mixed feelings about him.

About his business, let me say this...
The dog breeds we have today are due to solid knowledge of genetics and years of SOUND breeding practices. Every single one of our toy breeds have been bred down to their present acceptable sizes. He may have something going on in his bloodlines or something else, I don't know. But, after watching his web site for the last 6 years, it would appear he does have something consistant going on. And I do like the LOOKS, as they APPEAR on the web site, of his Yorkies.

That said, I like a LOT of Yorkies I see. So, bottom line, we'll be checking out several, maybe many, including Velvet Touch, when it's time for our next furbaby.

No, he didn't. He ranted and raved and insulted members and harrassed others by PM. Never once did he explain anything, address any issues or answer any questions.:thumbdown He has all the oportunity in the world to clear up any false statements or anything that was misleading about what he is doing. I guess this one sort of struck a cord with me. It just didn't seem fair that so many YT'ers, who I KNOW to know better, were making such derogatory remarks and accusations without facts. Sure, some assumptions could be made, but that's NOT the way the posts were coming across. I thought it was sad.

I guess I was also saddened because of the hurtful remarks made towards the Yorkies. My gosh, it wasn't THEIR fault where they were bred! Plus, not only do I LIKE them, but, one of my little girls resembles some of them.

So, I made an attempt to call attention to some insensitivity. I'll try not to make THAT mistake again.:eek:
