| Thought you weren't supposed to use harsh bleaches on washable pads? Nor softeners. This site, PUP Washable Training Underpads, definitely says "no harsh bleaches." www.personallypaws.com says, "Excessive bleach will cause premature product failure. Use of oxygenated bleach is recommended." I don't have any trouble with the stains washing out of the pads I got from www.personallypaws.com. I only use detergent and detergent booster. IMO even though I don't want to be able to smell the remnants of urine, I want my furbabies to smell that these pads are their spot to piddle on. Therefore, I do not bleach or soak with this or that. People are always surprised I have 4 furbabies because they say my house doesn't smell dogs. I guess it's working for me.

| question So many of you love these! Question....do any of you have a problem with your baby peeing on your throw rugs or bathroom rugs?? I have to keep my bathroom doors closed because they just love those carpets! Do you think using these pads will "confuse" them even more??

http://www.forthemonster.com/store/W...umbs=No&Thumbs They are WONDERFUL!!! You take the full bag of puppy pads and turn it inside out in the washing machine along with the bag and everything comes out clean. Plus you can sprinkle in some lavender oil for neutralizing the odor.

| fabric What fabric are they made of? I mean is it just different layers of material from a fabric store sewn together or is it a special fabric? I'm just wondering what I would be buying. I am def. there now because I have kept a tiny yorkie and a tiny maltese and w/ them and chloe I am going broke on piddle pads. Plus the other day I went into their x pen and I couldn't find the pads... they had torn a hole in their bed and drug the pads into the hole (big bed). It was crazy! |

| I love them too! Emmy was a shredder! She is 4 lbs but shredded like she was a big bear. I changed to the reusable pads and bought them from PersonallyPaws. I love them. I usually change to a new one once she has used it twice for #1. I change it after each #2 even though that is never really messy either. Just goes right into the toilet. I wash them every other day or so. I leave two in the bathroom during the day and a couple around the house when we get home. She also sometimes uses them during the night if she jumps out of our bed. I love them! They are made of a quilted fabric that holds up to 300 washings. They look great after every wash!! The ones I make have a colorful fabric on top (of your choosing) and a quilted inner soaker layer then a waterproof layer under that so that it doesn't t leak. Here are what the layers are generally like. This is a finished (half size) pad.

| I have never had any problems with stains on mine. You are right, I wouldn't recommend bleach as it will weaken the fabric. Don't use fabric softeners as it will make them LESS absorbent.
