Lulu wants you to be happy...please give Zoey a chance to make you smile again. I'm sure once you hold her and look into that little face your heart is going to just melt...but keep in mind she is not a replacement...she is an individual, unique being that will need your total love and full attention. Loving hugs to you, my thoughts and prayers are with you...and best wishes to you and your entire family.

Thank you guys for keeping my mind calm today. She is home. She is such a sweet little thing. Hubby seems like he thinks she belongs to him...lol. Pics to come.

Lemme get some of these pictures resized. Such a PIA. I will post them then.

She is a little con artist. She sure knows how to get herself cuddled. Definitely a bit of seperation anxiety on her end right now. She doesn't want to be in the room alone. I feel badly because she is intrigued by the cat who doesn't really want much to do with her at this point. Poor Zoey and poor April...they don't know what to make of each other.

Guilt is a natural part of the grieving process. No matter what the circumstances. It will pass in time. Zoey will be a Godsend in helping your heart heal. She's not replacing Lulu, she's just bringing some happiness into your life and giving you some direction. Give her a spot in your heart right next to Lulu's - there's plenty of room. Lulu will approve

i totally feel like there is nothing better to help mend a broken heart then a yorkie baby. i know for me lacey made me feel like she needed me as much as i needed her and that helped to take my mind of the sadness i was feeling. congrats on your new baby and get those pics posted asap lol.
