| I don't know Maximus sleeps at our feet but on top of the covers..although for the last 2 nights I have been waking up in the middle of the night to make sure he is okay and breathing...it is really STARTING TO FREAK ME OUT..and probably him!!!

| Tilly has been sleeping under the covers for just about 11 years now mostly in the winter months and shorter periods in the summer but she still goes under, she has always come out on her own I use to worry about the same thing suffocation but they do know when to come up for air |

| As you know, mine sleep in their kennels at night but when napping, they love to dig under and it scares me as well. I have a down comforter with a lot of pillows so it is hard to sleep knowing they are under there. They also love to do that digging thing with the sheets. I keep waiting for the rip when they finally break through. |

| Stewie sleeps under my down comforter on top of my legs and it never occured to me that he might suffocate. He's always flailing around in my bed.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I would hope there's no danger in doing that - mine sleep like me - covers partially on - but in the winter they do bury themselves... I haven't heard any stories about any grown yorkies suffocating in bed - Good question though ! |

| We only slept with Esme on our bed one time. I couldn't sleep the ENTIRE night worrying about her not being able to breathe, getting squished, or falling off the bed... Can you tell I am PARANOID??? I am so worried about us accidently hurting her that I can't sleep with her. She sleeps in her own bed beside my bed. I do nap with her all the time though, but WITHOUT the covers!
