| Hair growth I know that Precious is a Shorkie, but when does the hair start getting fuller/longer? I havent been able to post a pic of "Miss Chevious" Precious, but I will be purchasing a digi cam soon to do so so yall can see how short the hair is. She is already 4mths old, and the hair just doesnt look a thing like the little adorable dog in the Eukanuba advertisement above. Anyhow, if there is some insight to when this hair is gonna grow, please let me know! lol Im tired of my wife's "Countrified Family" saying that Precious just "has to be a mutt...Yorkies and s**tzu's have longer hair than that!"

| 4 months is still baby hair... in know that for most Yorkies it takes 2 years to see what their full adult coat will look like. Layla will be 2 in March and she never lost her puppy colors.. she is still black and tan.. no silver in sight... so dont' worry if you never get that full coat.... some yorkie sjust have fine hair... but hold on. i'd give her a year i'd LOVE to see pictures!!! |

| Yes. It takes awhile. It seems like at 8 months mine seemed to start really growing like crazy though.

| Yep it does take awhile! My Momoko is 11 months old (a year at the end of the month) and has pretty fine soft wavey hair, her hair took forever to grow out, it is just now showing signs of starting to get longer and fuller. |
