| Baby is crying ALOT! Help! My 4 month old baby, who I have had for a week now is a doll and I just adore her! I am crate training her and she is getting very good going on the wee wee pads, but whenever I leave her alone she cries and cries and cries and barks! I am worried the neighbors are getting upset ( I live in an apartment building) and I just want to train her early not to do this. Any advice! Please Please help! Thanks, Mollie and Lucy |

| Find an old jumper, wear it for a day to get your smell, then give it to her to sleep on when you need to leave her. Also of help is a warm hot water bottle to snuggle up to. Give her some toys & a special treat before you go, in her crate. A ticking clock in the room as well, plus a radio left playing. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | She needs disipline, right now she is testing you to see if you will give in or not. If you give in, then she is going to get spoiled and she will know everytime she cries or barks, you will give in. Take a heavy duty metal pan and a metal spoon and when she barks or whines, bang the spoon to the pan and say "NO" firmly, then walk away. Mine hate this loud noise and it stops them in there tracks! Also, let her cuddle up to your rob or sweatshirt, it has your smell on it, she may find comfort with the scent. |

| Is she just crying when she is in her crate? Personally, I think a exercise pen is much better than leaving them in a crate. You could put her crate or bed on one end with the gate off and have her pee pad on the other end, food and water in between. I know a lot of people crate train but I just could not do that to a little baby. |

| We were having the same problem at first. I put one of my old tee shirts I in her cage after wearing it for a couple hours. That really helped now he is used to it.

| Thanks for the advice. I leave her in my kitchen gated that has her crate, a bed, food/water and toys, but she just crys, screams and barks whenever I leave or even when she cant see me! I love the idea of hitting a pot load and saying no when she crys or barks. I will certainly try that. I will also leave her a t-shirt or something I wore that has my smell. Any other suggestions? Thanks a bunch! Mollie and Lil Lucy |
