Rubbing Your Yorkie Between Its Eyes Yoda loves it when we rub the area between his eyes. It seems to make him relaxed and sleepy. Anyone else ever rub this area?

Max wants his own masseuse Max loves it too....also goes limp when I rub his shoulders, back and tummy....however hates having his front paws even touched.....My husband was teasing me about the care, concern and overly protective treatment of Mr Max...but I caught him giving him a backrub and tummy rub last week while dog sitting for me. He also informed me the tv was too loud and was making Max nervous....Oh brother.....these little guys have us twisted around their paws.....pitiful!!!!!

Hahahah, tell me about it. We've successfully converted several non-dog people into loving Yoda. Well, Yoda probably converted them himself, but it's funny to see them all into Yoda when they supposedly "don't like dogs". :P

Yup, it takes a lot of loving to get our pups to where they are now. Yoda likes to be rubbed by everyone, but not everyone can find his "special" scratching spot.

hah that's so funny. I know exactly what you mean. Rubbing between the eyes seems like an instant sleeping pill. Does your Yorkie show a similar effect when you gently pull up on the hair at the very top of his/her head? Seems like when I pull up, almost to make Otis' hair stand up like Alfalfa on the Little Rascals, he likes that too.

Hmm, haven't tried that one MikeM, will do so tonight. He loves our touch no matter what, just certain areas he seems to like more.

I'm going to try that new move on India tomorrow. She's a big fan of the belly rub. If I flip her on her back and rub her belly she goes into a trance -- she can stay transfixed for hours! Heck, I would too!
