| McKenzie the mommy's girl :) I just have to make a quick post to tell you all that Kenzie has turned into the biggest mommas girl ever. It took Kenzie a while to really warm up to all of us honestly. She has a very shy personality and bonded quicker with the other dogs than with us. The past few weeks I've been noticing that she will sleep in my craft room with me all day while I work on orders. Then I noticed, she follows me from room to room... If I'm up, she's behind me in two minutes. Then last night she's started scratching at my leg and barking for me to pick her up. I am so excited that she's really becoming so attached to me. For a while I was wondering if we would have that strong bond because she seemed really detached from us. I'm sorry if this makes no sense, lol -- I am just too thrilled with this little snuggle bug I have on my hands now!! |

| Your baby is absolutely adorable. I know what you mean about the warming up. I got my first Yorkie about 12 years ago when she was 7 months old. It took her a few weeks to adjust but she is a total moma's girl. Good luck with your baby. |

| Awww, she is so beautiful I'm glad that she's forming a stronger bond with you We have a shy one as well, my Izzy She loves us, but I feel like she's holding back. We got her when she was 7 months old and it's been almost a year now and it seems like she doesn't trust us

She also is deathly afraid of other dogs at first. When we take her anywhere she'll see other dogs like walks or to petsmart, she makes these shrieking bark noises because she's terrified. Once she gets close to the other dog and can sniff, she's fine. I really hope we can work on getting her a little more comfortable. | |
