| ![]() I was just wondering how many yorkies wear a collar and tags??? My mother in law suggested that I get my two (5 month old) babies start wearing a collar and tags with thier name and my phone number. What do you think??? I plan to get them microchiped when the get spayed and nutered next month. Also, All the "tags" I look out seem way to big and heavy? My mother in law suggested a charm braclet charm??? Just wondering what others thought???

| ![]() It's a safe measure to have one in case they bolt out the door. There are alot of small collars out there, and you can all ways use cat collars and cat tags which are smaller too.

| ![]() Remi has been wearing ID since he was brought home as a 12 week old pup. He has a collar that stays on with his microchip ID and another small name and address tag. He also has an ID for his harness and his other tags, which include his license and rabies ID. It is a good idea to get the microchip implanted when your pup is at the animal hospital for neutering. Happy New Year! |

| ![]() My baby wears a tag. Try using a break-away cat collar, they are very safe. I got my tags at www.rossipettags.com They are SO cute and choices are great.

| ![]() I got a quick release collar for Zoe from chattiesmom and I put her tags on that and whenever she goes somewhere, I put that on. I do not attach her lease to it but put a harness on her but that way, if somehow she gets away, she has her tags on. She is also microchipped. |

| ![]() All 6 of mine wear tags and collars 100% of the time. I use a harness with a leash when walking them, but still always keep thier collar and tags on. It took them each a few days to get used to them, but I would rather be safe than sorry if my pets were to ever get out. Your pet has a MUCH better chance of being recovered with tags on.

| ![]() At Petco, you are able to print out light-weight tags for their collars. Very inexpensive investment. Warmly, Deborah

| ![]() Georgia has never worn a collar, because my breeder told me that if she ever got it caught on something when she was running around the house, it would snap her neck in a heartbeat. I've always been afraid of that, so she never wears one, but I've never heard of the "breakaway" collars. I'll have to check those out. She is microchipped, though. |

Most cat collars are "break-away" and sized just right for little ones necks.

search eBay community for angiesembroidery and/or http://cgi.ebay.com/PERSONALIZED-EMBROIDERED-DOG-CAT-COLLAR-4-SIZES-DOG_W0QQitemZ250202226288QQihZ015QQcategoryZ52355Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem these are nice products and definitely important. These are NOT big and heavy. Get the 3/8" size. If you worry about them getting caught on something, then order the "breakway" collars they make for cats. And the color choices are pretty. ![]() Hope this helps you somewhat! Good Luck!
