| Intoducing new yorkie to 2 yr. old yorkie Hello All, New to the forum and looking for some advice! We have a 2 yr old yorkie named Kringle. We just brought home another male yorkie named Kenji. He is 8 weeks old. Kringle is not ugly to Kenji but is pretty much ignoring him. Any advice on how to foster that relationship? I am hoping they eventually will become friends Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks, Andrea K. |

| Be careful, I remember a thread not to long ago where an older yorkie actually killed a baby when they were fastened up together. I know we had concerns when Zoey was small, leaving her with Ziggy, who was 7. There was blood shed a couple of times but nothing serious.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Just let them take their time getting use to each other. WHen I have brought a new one home, I always crate the new one when I am not home. My 4 all get along in varing degrees. Before you know it they should be snuggling together.

| Agreed on giving it time. Also, make sure Kringle (the 2 year old, right?) doesn't feel that YOU have replaced him. Feed him first. Give him his treats first. Make sure to allow lots of snuggle/play time and have times when the new baby is in his crate or expen and Kringle is out with you.
