Black and Gold's are my FAVORITE to raise! they have such AWESOME personalities.. so much different! My black and golds love the water so much more and will swim the pool by themselves like they are labs!! Cracks me up! And, they can JUMP! I just love them! Awesome lil dogs. Dont get me wrong, I love the laid back traditionals, but Black and Gold's are just something else! Carrie~

Adorable pups! We're a black and gold household (avatar pic and photo album here shows P-Nut and you can see both dark boys on my Instagram, user name sherbru). I'm hoping someday we'll have a similarly colored girl to add to our crew!

Beautiful boy!!! I will have to look you up on Instagram! I just started using it, and not very well, though, I am getting pretty accomplished at Pinterest! I finally have most of my babies on there. I LOVE taking new pics of them. I think you can google Texas Yorkies Pinterest and see most of the pics. Yorkies are JUST FUN.

loved your pic of your dog, such a fine looking Yorkie. Although my traditional has lots of spunk too, and loves the water, and dock jumping too! He now has a new skill....Duck Hunter. lol lol

Thank you! I'm fairly new to Instagram, but there are a lot of YT and other yorkie fans on there! I use it mostly to post pictures of my boys so I don't bug people on Facebook with a million doggie pictures a day. LOL. Looking forward to checking your pups out on Pinterest!

We have our Kyra who is black and gold but she is our more laid back one of the two lol not sure color is what gives them the spunk because Laddy is traditional and more the way you describe yours.

I've enjoyed looking at everyones furbutts!! So many cute pups!!

Ricky is like a little rainbow...he's black in some places and silver in others. His butt is the lightest silver, and his head also has some lighter silver streaks...but his back and shoulders are black. Oddly, his hair is different textures as well, depending on the color.

Prince, on the other hand is black and gold. He is 10 years old, so his back is starting to become more salt and pepper . I don't have too many pics of him naked, but I've attached a few below. They are from about 2 years ago...so they are a bit dated, but for the most part, he still looks the same!!
