No, that is what worries me too, she has never been outside our yard. She will go up to other dogs and being so small I am also worried that she may go up to a dog that will kill her. I am just sick! I see all her things here and cry like a baby. I do not have a good feeling about this. Thank you all for your prayers, I know they can work miracles and that is what I need.

OH no - :( :( I just saw this and will be praying someone sees her and you get her back ASAP !! man - I HATE fireworks - we have them right now going nuts and it really is so scary for all pets.....

I know, I hate them too..wish they would outlaw them here...my shih tzu had her pill and she's still shaking like crazy..she was laying by my hubby and just shaking so bad it's scarey..I'm afraid she is going to have a heart attack..We will be up with her until these darn things are over with...

But they still pop fireworks here in the outer city limits anyway.
The sheriffs office doesn't do anything about it.
I have all 4 yorkies around me right now - 2 shaking & 2 barking at the fireworks.
I had freaked out & thought Lexi ran away last 4th of July.
she was under my bed the whole time i was looking for her.
I thought i saw her go outside with the others.
I will never let them out again during fireworks times!

My Jack Russell is really nervous, I have looked at several different kinds of pills for this. What kind do you use, and is it safe for them (it must be or you wouldn't use it I'm sure)? She hates fireworks, thunderstorms, loud cars, and gun shots, where I live you hear people in the hills hunting all the time.. I really hope she finds her baby, I would be worried sick if it was me, I will pray for you everything will be fine you will find her. She is probably with someone right now safe that will return her to you.....

Thank you all, as much as I hate to I think I will have to wait till daybreak to continue my search. I still walk out in the yard and call for her but don't really expect her to be within hearing distance. I don't know how I will sleep knowing she is out there cold and scared. I pray someone has her....even if I never see her again I would be happy to know she is with someone who will love her....:cry:

I am so heartsick for you. I wish I was there because I would drop everything and help you find your baby.

I really truly and honestly believe that you will find her. You need to think positive! Are there coyotes or anything near you? If not, leave some of her food and water out in your yard.

I wish I was there..... I would be there helping you look all though the night!.
I will say extra prayers that all is well and she'll be home safe really soon.

Start making posters with a good photo of her or several photos. Include your cell phone number and keep that phone on and with you and charged at all times. Also promise a reward if you can afford it, and even if you can't. Get the money as a cash advance off your credit card if necessary. Post them everywhere -- local businesses, all vets and pet stores, all the utility poles in as large an area as possible. There are many good people out there who will scoop her up if they find her and will call you if they see a "lost dog" poster with contact info. Also, post her as missing (with photo) on any local message boards and on the SPCA message board and and rescue boards in your area. Go to the SPCA or your local humane society every day and check in person. A phone call will not work. I've heard of people who call the SPCA and the dog is right there in front of them and they say it's not there, either through ignorance of breeds or just lack of caring. Ask your neighbors and friends to help you with the posters. Some curmudgeons might tear them down from utility poles so you need to get them right back up. You would be surprised at just how many dogs get reunited with their owners use do all this and at just how many people will be willing to help you, if only to keep an eye out for her and let you know when there are "sightings." Carry a tab top can of dog food with you for when you find her -- she will be hungry and the smell of the food will be one more inducement to come to you. You must be persistent and creative.

Maybe a neighbor found her and is keeping her warm and safe ..... and will return her tomorrow.
