Still praying for your baby to come home. When Maddie ran away (the second time) she was staying at a friends house while we were on vacation. They put up 500 fliers within their neighborhood. When I tell you those fliers were on EVERY pole I am not exagerating! All day long they were getting phone calls of sightings. Certainly by this time someone has taken Delilah into their home. (At least she is warm and fed!) And the way to get her back now is to let as many people know she is missing as you possibly can. Keep praying and don't give up hope! |

Please be careful I went through this very thing last Jan..... My Oliver slipped out the front door while I was unloading groceries... I noticed he was gone almost immediately and he has never been returned..... I posted adds in paper went to the pound contacted all the vets to notify me if a " New Patient " came in.... Craigs list, Reward posters.... went door to door and poof he disappeared in no more than 10 minutes..... I live in a very nice new neighborhood.... and have never had any problems at all.... I spoke with all the children I could find..... NOTHING>>>> " My gut tells me some young guys were visiting my neighbors and were standing out in the driveway getting ready to leave and I think they took him...... I still can hardly talk about it.... I have a new little boy " Samson " I got 1 week later ( I had planned on getting a 2nd one soon anyway... "\\ The reason I said all of this I put out the door to door circulars and signs and poster about 3 milles out..... After about 1 week when I would see one of them missing I would replace with a new one..... and then started getting the phone calls.... they woul;d say we have your dog.... ,,,, or they saw a dead dog on the side of the road..... then someone wanted my address and said they would bring me my dog.... I told them I would meet them in a Church Parking lot and of course they never showed up..... It always sounded like a different person that would call.... I don't think I would post your address..... I only put my cel phone number on the flyers.... Just be very cautious....... there are alot of bad people out there than know how desperate you are.... PLEASE be careful.... Sorry this is so long.... |

I'm so sorry you were put through that. In earlier posts on this thread you will see that I did put down my address and home phone. I normally would have never put down my address but I was desperate. Thankfully nobody played any cruel pranks on me, but it did allow people to check back with me on whether or not Rocky was found. Rocky was found by a very nice lady and then returned back to me. Think it's very important to involve the neighborhood adults and kids. People love to talk and word of mouth works in your favor. Also post pics/flyers at all the local groomers. There usually are not too many Yorkies in town....Good to keep even the groomers aware your Yorkie is missing and what it looks like. My thoughts were that I would not make it easy for someone to take over ownership of my Yorkie. |
Still thinking of you  |
When Mogli was sick, the Dr in Gainesville told me that Yorkies are amongst the strongest of dogs. They are capable of going through a lot, don't give up, and even if somehow their spirits are down ... they bounce back fast. Everyone is following along sending good thoughts for the baby ... |
I would contact all the vets in your area also and give them a pic of your dog... any one local that has your dog will need to go to the vet with it sooner or later. If your dog is microchipped all the better. I know my vet doesn't scan every dog that comes in but if they were called with a certain breed that is missing they would then. Hope you get your baby back. |
Prayers going out to you and your family! Keep the faith! |
Still here, and will be till Deliliah is found. We all feel your pain on here, because we all have yorkies and know in our hearts how hurt your are. We are praying with all we have for you and Deliliah. :ghug: Darlene |

Delilah please find your way home!! Sending hugs and prayers . |
Sorry no good news to report. You are are too kind. I have not shared this because I did not want to think it could be possible. The night Delilah went running off scared to death, a neighbors little 4 lb. pom did the same thing. While we were out looking we would pass each other and ask if the other had had any luck. She said she had heard the sound of a little dog screaming and thought it sounded like her little dog. I also thought I had heard something but could not tell if it was the whistling of the fireworks or a very far off sound of a little dog's cries. I called her several times and finally caught up with her yesterday to check on her dog. Thankfully she had found her dog on her porch later that night. I am now afraid Delilah may have came into contact with a big dog. I do not want to think about it. But thought you should know. |

Tissy....don't even think that she might have run into a bigger dog and got hurt. I am like 99% sure she will be back home. It is very rare that a lost dog is not found. And I really hate to saythis and hope it does not come over the wrong way but if she did run into a dog or anything that hurt her you most likely would have found her by now. I am sure she is hiding or safe at someone's house that either does not know where to return her or just has not thought of it yet. Please don't take anything I said in the negative....I have just heard of too many missing dogs that are found.....eventually. Stay strong Tina |
Them crazy fire crackers make the weirdest sound...also some scary ones!!! Hang on Tissy! Gods speed honey! |
