| Last question for today, I promise!! For those of you who dress your furbabies, at what age did you start doing so? I really would like to order some PJs for Franklin so that they are here by the time I bring him home. However, I don't quite know his sizes/measurements. How quickly do they grow in to or out of clothing? I'm reluctant to buy clothing for a 12 week old puppy if it won't fit him for very long (at least I say so now... the minute he gets here I'll probably go crazy). What do you guys think? |

| I think, and this IMO, you can never buy enough clothes for the furbutts! I would simply call and ask the breeder what the measurements are or at least how long s/he is. So you can at least get a shirt, sweater, or some jammies! Too, I wouldn't go too crazy as Parker isn't a fan of getting dressed. He has a closet full of stuff he really doesn't wear unless we are going out of the house. |

| They grow really FAST just like kids. I wouldn't spend a fortune in getting clothes and all that, but maybe pick up some stuff on sale just so he can get used to it. Once he reaches full size, then I say have at it!

| I bought Lacy a sweater as soon as I got her. She had a few outfits as a small puppy but I didn't start buying a lot of stuff for her until she was like 7 months..took me that long to find all the great dog boutiques She only wore clothing sometimes as a puppy but once I had several outfits I started dressing her every day. Even as a puppy, she never minded having clothes on...she acted the same either way. They do grow out of things so I wouldn't buy a ton of clothes for a puppy...just a few things. Once their full grown, you can go crazy LOL. I recently sold a LOT of Lacy's clothes on here that didn't fit her anymore. This is a great place to sell your pup's clothes when he grows out of them. You just have to be a donating member to sell here.

| They do grow quickly...when I got Lil' Miss Izzie she was 12 weeks old and this lil furball.. and I went overboard and bought her a bunch of things....well, guess what...she quickly outgrew them....She is now almost 11 mths mths old and I hope her growing spurt has slowed down......but I am still buying clothes for her....heck she has more up to date clothes than I do.... I do have some items that are too small for her now that I need to list, but just haven't gotten around to it...if interested send me a PM...

| They grow fast so I would suggest buying cheap clothes from the internet or on sale at Target or Petco or some store like that in the beginning but start early so they are used to it and don't know any different. If you wait for them to be full grown it won't work because they won't like it then!

Your baby would probably just need a sweater or two and two sets of PJ's for now, just to keep warm Can't wait to see her!!!
