My life is a responsibility, and not an afterthought.
I will learn that humans can almost, sometimes, be as kind and as fair as dogs.

Here in this house...
I will belong.

I will be home.

Deborah...How beautiful, yes I'm crying...again. Those that have rescued will forever be blessed...and those that have been rescued, rest assured that you have wonderful homes and families to love you and for you to love back.

Happy Birthday Bernie!!!!
I have made a promise to myself that any future additions to my family will be rescues. Knowing how many babies need homes, I would not feel right if I didn't give them one.

Default Bernie has been with us 2 years now.
I meant to come here on his " birthday" and revive this thread....he's my sweet 3 year old boy now. Can you believe I don't have a current pic? I'll have to resolve that really soon!

Bernie, you have changed our lives for the better...we love you and happy belated birthday little guy.

oh my gosh, the pictures were so heartwarming to see....to see the change from the scared rescue picture to the one after he was home for months...wow...i think everyone was blessed
