| Bogus is chewing up the house!!!!!!! Okay...I'm out of tricks....Bogus is 18 months old. He has PLENTY of chew toys and toys period! He will chew and destroy anything he can reach...Cell phones, furniture, the edge of rugs, everything...I have used "stay off", Bitter Green Apple spray, yelling No at him and he is still chewing... He tells on himself before I ever see the evidence...he lays on his back with his head turned away and thats the sign that he has chewed up something..so, he knows its wrong because he sure doesn't display this position when he hasn't chewed, lol ....I need some new ideas on how you other YTers have handled this with success....PLEASE

| Sorry, I can't help I have a chewer too, she's ruined my antique dining table, china hutch, chairs, baseboards, shoes, EVERYTHING She seems to love that bitter apple spray, the deodorant doesn't stop her, it just makes a mess Like your Bogus, Izzy has plenty of chew stuff and toys, and I'll be watching your thread here to see if I can pick up some tips as well. I'm *this close* to gating her in the kitchen again, like when they were babies, when I leave.

| Thank goodness Murfee is not nor ever has been a chewer but I have had chewers in the past. I could never find a way to stop them, they just eventually outgrew it. Good luck to both of you.

| Love the way he tells on himself. I know that he is so naughty, but that is so cute! |

| I think the only thing you can do at the moment is limit his roaming space until he outgrows it.

| Since this is the first "chewer" I have ever had, I take great hope in the fact that some of you have said he will outgrow this...I suppose knowing that there will be an end to this, allows his "rent" paid up for a few more months LOL...no, I could never get rid of any of my babies even if they chewed forever!!!! This is just a new experience...He is so sneaky though..I had a terrible headache last night about 6:00 and he had the vaccum cleaner attatchement chewing on it of course on the couch with me and I took it away from him...hid it under the cushion when he wasn't looking and about 4:00 a.m. he hopped of the bed (he never does this at night time) and went in the LR got it and came back to bed ..He's a mess!!! Thank you all for the replies and advice....Have a SAFE and Happy New Year!!! Steph
